Petyo D. Manev is the Founder and President of the Bulgarian Interplanetary Society. He is currently in his senior year at the Sofia High School of Mathematics and aspires to become an aerospace engineer. Up to now, Petyo has attended several space-related camps. He represented Bulgaria at the US Space Camp in Alabama and successfully graduated from the biggest program in Bulgaria for aerospace engineering – Space Challenges. He was also awarded by the European Space Agency (ESA) for his performance in a summer camp organized by the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in collaboration with ESA.
Georgi M. Alexandrov is the Vice President of the Bulgarian Interplanetary Society. He is in his senior year at the Sofia High School of Mathematics and wishes to enroll in a Physics course at university. Georgi is an active competitor in Physics and Astronomy. Some of his accomplishments include a silver medal from the 2018 International Olympiad in Physics, a gold medal from the 2018 European Physics Olympiad, and a bronze medal from the 2016 International Astronomy Olympiad.
Etien Yovchev is the Marketing Manager of the Bulgarian Interplanetary Society. In 2017, he was awarded a MSc degree in Innovation Management from RSM, Erasmus University Rotterdam and has already accumulated over 2 years of startup experience in a wide range of Marketing roles – from market research and the creation of go-to-market strategies through value proposition design and branding to copywriting and content creation. In the summer of 2018, Etien also successfully completed the Space Challenges academy for aerospace engineering.
